You could try this, I do it and it works for me. Light the taper candle and when the wax starts to melt a little bit, tip it over and let the wax drip into the candle holder. Then, quickly place the candle into the holder. The wax in the holder will harden, keeping the taper in place. Hope it works for you!

It’s a great laptop accessory. I love it because it breaks down and fits in my laptop case. My husband uses a laptop as a desktop and has it connected to a monitor/keyboard/mouse.
