well you can have your hairstyles thin out your hair. It keeps the length but takes some of the thickness out. you need to style you're hair wet and set it before it dries. Also instead of using a round brush to fluff your bangs use a comb and blow dry them down towards your nose (make sure the dryer isn't too hot).

I use a product called curlsexy when I want to wear a curly style. It is made by the same company as big sexy hair spray. You can scrunch and let dry or diffuse and scrunch for a softer look.
