How do you eliminate static in your hair?

I guess the weather has been kind of dry lately and after I blow dry my hair, it just stands up or get's stuck to my face. It sucks! Does anyone have any suggestions?

I have really light hair that just stands straight up wen its dry, even tho i spike up my hair i dont want it so light and thin, because also my brother and i have the same hair style and wen his hair is dry his hair sorta lays down and it doesnt stick straight up..what can i do?
