How can I make a hair dryer wall mount or bracket with joints for a wall mounted hair salon dryer that saves on space?
Ladylou asked:
I have a technical background and I respect intellectual work. I would however like to fabricate a wall mounting for a hair drier for my salon as seen under this link (http://www.shopping.com/xPO-Wall-Mounted-Hair-Salon-Dryer) but the only difficulty I experience is on the joint. This because the joint should be in such a way that when you pull and let go the dryer stays in that position. Can anyone with a technical background advise? any assistance will be highly appreciated.

How about a gooseneck? http://www.unbeatablesale.com/zdr016.htm…
Or an armature? like those used for lights and television.
